On Thursday, September 18, BTS' Kim Taehyung, also known as V, shocked fans with a Weverse livestream titled "Yo." The 30-minute conversation evolved into an emotional music suggestion event, with Taehyung sharing many tracks from the legendary South Korean R&B group Brown Eyed Soul. The singer revealed that, while he no longer listens to the group on a regular basis, their impending album has encouraged him to explore their songs and promote them to ARMYs again.

During the live performance, Taehyung confessed that he has long liked Brown Eyed Soul, loving how their soulful tunes raise his spirits. He mentioned that the band was popular in the 1990s and early 2000s, and he wanted to share that memories with fans throughout the world. His chosen playlist included a combination of Brown Eyed Soul's singles, such as Promise You, Love Ballad, Is The Wind, My Story, and Did We Really Love, as well as Sharp's After the Play Ends and Seo Yun-hyeok and So Soo-bin's Feeling Alone.
